Harvest in the Ghetto Event Line-Up, Tickets on Sale!

Lompoc, CA (September 2, 2015) – Lompoc Wine Alliance will host its inaugural event
Harvest in the Ghetto on September 26-27th. The two day event celebrates the bounty of
harvest with Rare Barrel Tastings, Open House Festivities, Live Graffiti Demos, a Grape Stomp
and one epic Farm-to-Ghetto La Paulee Dinner with Bell Street Farm. Lompoc has one of the
highest concentrations of World-Class, Small Production wineries in Santa Barbara County.
With over 20 participating tasting rooms, the weekend will feature each winery offering a
variety of special tasting opportunities. Guests are invited to sip, savor and stay in Lompoc for
the weekend with free shuttle service between the hotels and tasting rooms available!

Barrel Tastings - Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, from 10am-1pm. Priced
at $40 and includes additional tasting flights at 2 wineries. Participating wineries will roll out the
barrels, and sample the future with ticket holders.
Grape Stomp & Live Graffiti - Saturday, September 26, from 12-2pm. Priced at $15 and
includes 1 tasting flight at a participating winery. The Art of Making Wine meets Art. Enjoy a
good old fashioned Grape Stomp while artists create works of graffiti.
Open Houses - Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, from 11am-5pm. World
class wineries of Lompoc will open their doors and bottles, and offer their own kind of
entertainment. Tasting fees and events vary at each Tasting Room.
Farm to Ghetto La Paulee Dinner with Bell Street Farm - Saturday, September 26th, from
6:30 – 9:30 PM. Priced at $125. A La Paulee is a traditional end of harvest dinner in Burgundy.
Lompoc Wine Alliance winemakers will be hosting their own version featuring over 20 Lompoc
wineries. Chef Jamie Gluck of Bell Street Farm rounds out the evening with a bountiful 4-course
wine-centric menu from local produce and locally sourced meats. Limited Seating!
Weekend Pass on September 26-27 Priced at $160 ($20 savings) which includes Barrel Tasting
of 3 selected wineries and 2 tastings at participating wineries, Grape Stomp Admission and a
seat at the table at the Farm to Ghetto Dinner.
Lompoc Wine Alliance is a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade association aiming to strengthen
