Santa Barbara, CA – The Miller Family, a fifth-generation farming family that owns, among other properties, the storied Bien Nacido Vineyards in the Santa Maria Valley appellation, has recently opened the Bien Nacido/Solomon Hills Estate Tasting Room in the picturesque township of Los Olivos, California. Situated in wine country, the Bien Nacido/Solomon Hills Estate Tasting Room is among numerous regional tasting rooms, many of them opening in older, historic buildings.
Ideal for wine loving visitors who prefer not to drive too much during wine country visits, Los Olivos is centrally located within Santa Barbara Wine Country, and offers a broad range of wine tasting experiences, a craft brewery tasting room, a coffee shop popular with locals and fun shops like J. Woeste, a singular garden store and Avec Moi Décor, a home shopping emporium.
The Bien Nacido/Solomon Hills wines were recently reviewed by Antonio Galloni, renowned wine critic and founder of Vinous, a well-respected wine publication. Galloni wrote, “Simply put, Bien Nacido Estate is now one of the hottest wineries in California.” In Galloni’s recent report, the Bien Nacido Estate Chardonnay and the Solomon Hills Chardonnay were the two highest rated Chardonnays on California’s Central Coast.
The tasting room is located at 2963 Grand Avenue, Unit B in Los Olivos, CA. Open Thursday through Monday 11 am to 5 pm.
