US Highway 101 Resurfacing Near Goleta Resumes with Overnight Roadwork and Intermittent Daytime Ramp Closures


U.S. HIGHWAY 101 OVERNIGHT LANE/RAMP CLOSURES NEAR GOLETA CONTINUE THIS WEEK

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY – A project to resurface US Highway 101 from north of Cathedral Oaks Road to north of Turnpike Road will result
in the following lane/ramp closures during the week of Monday, August 1.

Alternating lane closures on southbound US Highway 101 from Winchester Canyon Road to Fairview Avenue during the overnight hours from 8 pm until 6:30 am.
The southbound on-ramps to US Highway 101 at Patterson Avenue, Winchester Canyon Road and Los Carneros Road will be closed on an alternating basis during the overnight hours from 8 pm until 6:30 am. No two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time.
The southbound No. 1 (left) lane of US Highway 101 from Los Carneros Road to Fairview Avenue will be closed on Tuesday, August 2 from 9 am until 11 am and from 1 pm until 3 pm.
The southbound No. 2 (right) lane of US Highway 101 from Los Carneros Road to Fairview Avenue will be closed on Wednesday, August 3 from 9 am until 11 am and from 1 pm until 3 pm.

Construction on this resurfacing project will continue each week Sunday night through Friday morning during the overnight hours with delays not to exceed 15 minutes. Motorists can expect some intermittent daytime ramp closures. The contractor for this $9.4 million project is Granite Construction of Santa Barbara, CA. This project is expected to be complete this summer.
