A Message from SBCC Superintendent/President Dr. Anthony E. Beebe
Community Survey: “If only I were the new SBCC President, I would…”

Dear Santa Barbara Community,

Today is my first day as Superintendent/President of Santa Barbara City College. Before mentioning anything else, I want to thank the community for its incredibly warm welcome. It has been beyond anything I could have imagined.

As I begin my tenure at SBCC, I want to hear from you. Specifically, I am hoping you’ll share your thoughts with me related to the question: “If only I were the new SBCC President, I would…” The goal of this is to give you an anonymous opportunity to share your thoughts about the college. What would you change? What would you do more/less of? What would be your focus? What is important to you at the college? How would you better serve the community as a community college? Whatever you would like me to know – I will read all comments! Here is a link to the survey. The survey will stay open until Friday, July 29th.

Overall, I am thrilled to serve as SBCC’s new Superintendent/President. Over the weeks and months ahead, I hope to meet many of you! I will look forward to that.

All the best,

Dr. Anthony E. Beebe
