SANTA BARBARA COUNTY – A full closure of State Route 246 from Fifth Street to Pine Street will take place on Tuesday, June 21 from 7 am until 5 pm.
Motorists headed eastbound will detour from State Route 246 at Fifth Street to Laurel Avenue to Pine Street. Motorists headed westbound will detour from State Route 246 at Pine Street to Laurel Avenue to Fifth Street. Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 10 minutes.
Motorists will encounter one-way reversing traffic control within this area Monday, June 6 through Tuesday, July 14 from 8 am until 4 pm for various repairs to the highway.
The contractor for this $673,000 project which includes a resurfacing project on State Route 246 in Lompoc is Pavement Coatings Company of Woodland, CA. This project is expected to be complete by August 2016.
