U.S. HIGHWAY 101 OVERNIGHT LANE/RAMP CLOSURES NEAR GOLETA THIS FRIDAY
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY – A project to resurface US Highway 101 from north of Cathedral Oaks Road to north of Turnpike Road will result
in the following lane/ramp closures during the overnight hours on Friday, June 3.
The northbound US Highway 101 on/off-ramps at Winchester Canyon Road will be closed from 9 pm until 6 am. The No. 2 lane on surface
streets nearest to these ramps will also be closed.
The No. 2 lane of US Highway 101 will be closed in both directions from Glen Annie Road to Fairview Avenue from 8 pm until 6 am.
The No. 1 and No. 2 lanes of northbound US Highway 101 north of Glen Annie Road will be closed on an alternating basis from 9 pm until 6 am.
Delays should not exceed 15 minutes. No two consecutive ramps will be closed during this roadwork.
This resurfacing project will continue each week Sunday night through Friday morning during the overnight hours with delays not to exceed 15 minutes. The contractor for this $9.4 million project is Granite Construction of Santa Barbara, CA. This project is expected to be complete this summer.
