The Ojai Valley Lavender Festival, now in its 13th year, is a nonprofit organization that hosts a wonderful, free, annual festival to celebrate the beauty and benefits of lavender, a crop that continues to grow in popularity and profit in the Ojai Valley. Funds raised through the festivals are awarded via scholarships to local individuals to pursue studies in lavender or other growth-related areas (ie: horticulture, permaculture, organics, drought-tolerant land design, etc.).

This year’s festival will host over 100 vendors and feature a live music line-up, guest presentations, food, games, prizes, a petting zoo, family fun and, of course, plenty of luscious lavender. Local restaurants, businesses, organizations and merchants will join the celebration with special offers. As the perfect way to honor June’s designation of “Lavender Month” in Ojai, the 2016 Ojai Valley Lavender Festival is not to be missed!
