The violent gang members know the liberal judges will not put anyone to death. The system allows delay after delay, and the killers know it. I just hope that when one of the liberal judge’s or public defender’s family members is murdered, they [know that they] will only have themselves to blame. Then and only then will they do what the public has been crying for—quick justice for all killers; enough of the liberal political correctness. How many more people must die in the streets before we get tough?

State-sanctioned murder does nothing to ameliorate this situation. It only makes people think murder is the answer to murder. I might wish for the death of those responsible for my family members but I know it is not the right response and I would not sanction it. II don't cry for people to be murdered in response to their actions, whatever they might be. This is the kind of myopia that leads us to tragedies like Iraq. This has nothing to do with "political correctness" (a nonsensical term) and everything to do with real courage, compassion, and deeper thinking. Take a deep breath...

Kevin O'Connor not only fantasizes "liberal judges" with powers they don't have, but hopes their family members die. And the same for public defenders, who have only themselves to blame for ... doing their job?
If being liberal means not being a vicious hateful ignorant nasty evil cowardly right winger who wants to kill kill kill, then I'm proud to be a liberal.
