Republican Presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani will be in Santa Barbara today, making a public appearance at Joe’s Café, 536 State St., at 3:30 p.m.
According to his office, the event will be a meet-and-greet-type event, with Giuliani making some remarks and possibly taking some questions. The event is free and open to the public.
The appearance will come after a private fundraiser at the Biltmore in Montecito. At that event, comedian Dennis Miller will open up for the former New York City mayor.

Wow, what a coup -- a fundraiser at our very own Biltmore (well, Montecito's), with drinks afterwards at Joe's, is the reason Rudy was "too busy" to attend Tavis Smiley's people-of-color Republican debate. Doesn't that make us feel important!

Rudy Giuliani exploiting FEAR for power and personal gain!
Franklin Roosevelt’s words ring true again today.
And, clarified and amplified, they are just as current now as they were when first he spoke them, 74 years ago.
“We have nothing to fear but fear itself” — and those who would exploit our fear, for power and for their own personal, selfish, cynical, gain.
We actually have nothing to fear but Rudy!
Scum-sucking opportunist!
and I mean that in a Loving and Caring way!

I wasn't able to attend but I sincerely hope anyone who did made it clear to "America's Mayor" that his disrespectful and baldfaced exploitation of 9-11 absolutely guarantees that he is unfit for office. One can only hope the corrupt and evil scum called the GOP will nominate Rudy as their presidential candidate. A nation sick to death of the Republican propaganda machine and endless fearmongering will certainly ensure he is defeated in a landslide.
Something else to ponder: how can a party that engineered two electoral frauds using the Secretarys of State of Florida and Ohio in collusion with voting machine vendors still be accredited as a political party? Shouldn't the GOP be disbanded and a new opposition party to the Democrats be formed? When did America lose its way and become a mere shadow of what it once was?
