Dorothy grew up in the Santa Barbara area and was lucky enough to meet the Independent staff when they would buy organic vegetables from her at the downtown Farmer’s Market, where she once represented local organic farms. "I have an affinity for our festivals and parades and can be seen
selling bikes, carrying banners, or helping push floats for Earth Day, Solstice, and any other fundraiser or activity that is pro animals
and the environment," says Dorothy.
