I think you probably mean Cretaceous not "Crustaceous". And I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you don't really think that 97% of the Earth's surface is covered with ocean (we'd be awfully crowded if our land mass was reduced by 90%). It's more like 71%. And northern hemisphere sea ice coverage has been declining for decades, it hasn't increased since 2006.
I don't disagree with your point about growing food rather than lawns, but when you pretend you know what you're talking about, your message loses some impact. Check your science.
