So I'm guessing your parents named you after the 1969 Oliver song "Good Morning Starshine"? :)

I remember my son lying next to me in the hospital the day he was born, and listening to soft Joni Mitchell melodies on our boom box. From that day on, our house was filled with a variety tunes from Vince Guaraldi, CSN&Y, to Led Zeppelin.

Saw Jack Johnson at Verizon in Irvine last night...the concert was a "10". He just gets better and better every time I see him. And oh, by the way, he just received the 2010 Humanitarian Award at this year's Billboard Touring Awards for his involvement with enviornmentally & socially conscious endeavors. And did I mention he's donating 100% of his concert proceeds from his world tour to charities? You won't want to miss him this week at the SB Bowl. Opening acts are great too..G. Love, Zee, and Paula Fuga (Country Road was awesome!). Love Jack Johnson!!!!!!!!!

Go get 'em, Carpinteria! Vote "NO" on Measure "J"! I don't live in Carpinteria, so I can't vote for this measure, but I'm pulling for you!

It's so impressive to have read about your peaceful protest on Friday. You are good, honest people with strong convictions about protecting your beautiful coastal town. You're doing the right thing.

Godspeed!
