Thanks for all you do to provide good, healthy food to those in need. It's a lot better than the canned food which is usually available. (Not a complaint but an appreciation).

Thanks Lois, for your concerns and involvement when people are in dire need. And especially thanks to DRI for all they do. We are so fortunate to have you both in Santa Barbara.

The companies which have been going to Mexico for years and years, since the Braceros program of the '50s and '60s, are not penalized from recruiting central american residents to work in the US illegally. A comprehensive reform would include controlling illegal activities of companies who employ undocumented workers. The entire situation is bad for workers here and bad for immigrant workers, which is why it needs to be fixed and fixed NOW. These practices have been going on way, way too long.

Do you have to have an official diagnosis to participate? I know my memory is diminishing. Or, is there a website which has info about the exercises to preserve memory?

It surprises me that Montecito Trails Foundation would cower to the Kirst woman's wishes. They have, after all, been supportive of the current rules and practices which allow for all trail users on practically all of the trails. Some of us who are mountain bikers belong to the MTF and appreciate and support their trail maintenance projects. We do not appreciate Kirst's divisive comments and actions against mountain bikers, especially when so many of us have worked hard to get along and to make the trails safe for everyone. Thanks for all your work Ray and MTF in keep the trails nicely groomed! And to the Santa Barbara Mountain Bike Trail Volunteers equally!
