You can promote yourself all you want in this town, but local artists in all mediums are generally ignored here.The majority of my bookings are out of town. SB is lacking in venues and those that include local artists are few and far between. Even local news publications tend to favor visiting artists over local accomplishments.

People throw away direct mail. the purpose of a community news outlet is to inform and at times be a forum. You don't get that with direct mail advertising nor are writers, photographers ect continually employed by such a waste of paper. Definitely Montecito deserves its own local publication that's not just the rantings of a mad man.BTW, not everyone who lives in Cito is wealthy.
