Most of these flights aren't life-and-death emergencies, but a convenient (and bill-padding) way to transfer patients from one hospital to another.

There's a difference between illegal and perverted. Would you regard these guys as "Uncle Pervy & Dr. Weakmind" if they lived in Germany?

Hank is dodging my point. What these guys did was clearly illegal, but I think the hyperventilating moral judgements people are making are on shakier ground. Would you be rooting for these guys to kill themselves if they lived in Germany?

italiansurg, are you seriously arguing that the stroke patients they now fly in by helicopter would die if they were transported by ambulance? What is your basis for this claim?
