Never a memorial, never a cemetery honoring our fallen soldiers, Arlington West was always a war protest that used men and women who died in these conflicts as fodder to promote their political beliefs.
I'm glad we are getting our beach back.
Good riddance Arlington West!
May our fallen soldiers rest in peace.

First of all, I hope Frank is OK
Horses behave that way because they are horses. If a flower pot has been moved, or someone opens up an umbrella, that's fair game for a good spooking. Good riders get bucked all the time also.
Thank God for Henry Ford!!

Here is another example of the SB city council trying to emulate other "green" cities with an ordinance that will have little or no impact on the poor Leatherback turtle. None of my plastic bags make it into the ocean - I recycle or dispose of properly.Did you know that the city trash pick up takes plastic bags for recycling? That should do the trick right there! The first step towards a solution is to get the City Council to work on meaningful projects, not feel good legislation . .

I think the big ships look cool against our coastline.
Let's do some math: 3000 passengers per ship times $200 = $600,000 in "cheap souvenirs" and restaurant fare per ship. Add 20 more ships and the total goes to $12,000,000 per year. Those are good numbers for Santa Barbara.
By the way, they do not dump sewage in our channel.
I can't wait to see some of the Naval ships come to port as well!!
