Another short sighted stupid article by the independent. What is the purpose of this other than sounding like you wrote this to show how brilliantly observant you are not. Every landlord in town read this and many of which were below what the independent claimed as average raised the rent because of this stupid article. Once again.. Brilliant move...

I cannot believe the independent has sided with the oil companies..... The independent used to be a stand out voice for the environment and the higher good of the planet rather than some TP tabloid for the right wing conservatives who spend the most on their campaign. Unbelievable.. The focusing of campaign contributions amounts rather than the issues and trusting that the oil companies will do the right thing or we will catch them even if it's after the fact all under the fear of we will be sued.. Wow. Have you no shame? My vote is you give up independent name because you no longer are Independent but merely a dependent puppet w big oil pulling your strings. Perhaps Santa Barbara had gone south.. Sailing in one of those time bomb cruise ships burning oil into the smog.

Last week I went up to the lizard's mouth under the full moon planning to watch the full moon eclipse… As I was approaching the pull out for lizards mouth on west Camino Cielo in the road in front of me huge black bear (although he was brown)… It ran for about 150 yards in front of me on the road about 10 yards in front of me in my headlights before dashing off the trail into the bushes. I've never seen a black bear in the front country only in the backcountry. The drought is pushing them further. Needless to say the hike up to lizards mouth in the dark was a little spooky.

Not the best attempt at SB climbing history. There are so many mistakes and inaccuracies that its hard to believe you proof read or do research.
