I really don't think that the Bar Method creates long bodies. I'm pretty sure they showed up that way.

A citizen's review board would cut things like the Kasi Beutel thing off at the pass by having an impartial body review allegations of police misconduct rather than giving us this media circus. I don't want to tell cops that they can't enforce the laws- I want to tell them that they can't break the law while doing it.
And we already have de facto review boards of our elected officials- they're called elections.

You're damn straight I want the people to be the boss. This is a democracy- the cops work for us, not the other way around.

Good riddance. Cam Sanchez is a disgrace and the department is in desperate need of a re-tooling and a citizens review board.

Isla Vista has pretty much always been this way since it became a student enclave. If you don't like it, don't live there.
