I don't get it, are cops not even allowed to "ask" to search a premise anymore. I know its double edge sword given that your damned if you do let them in and you have a stash of guns and damned if you don't let cops in because it could raise suspicions that you're hiding something. I know my response would be "go get a warrant if you think you have probable cause" but its easy for me to stick up for my rights given the fact that I don't purposefully break the law. Now its in my head if I'm ever in the position where a cop "asks" to search my premises I will certainly say "You want to search my home without a warrant, but you didn't even "ask" to search mass murder Elliot Rodgers apartment when you had a chance? you must be kidding.

Thousands of people go up there every year. One breaks both her ankles and the other falls down a cliff and dies. Something is not being told in this story.

Loonpt you are bat s*&t crazy. Here is how I know - 1. I never asked everybody to get down on their knees and worship the authority the police. Not even literally or implied. That is your f*^ked up interpretation and it is wrong. 2. I never said anybody "deserves" to be be beaten up. Those words were not written, they were not thought by me or would they have been interpreted that way by any reasonable person. Once again your interpretation is f%*ked. #3 and easily the most offensive is that you brought up the Holocaust. This clinches it for me as to your F'd mental state and reasoning. You have used the most wrong and cliched crutch of weak arguments all the world around. Your analogy is weak at best. Where is the concentration camp? Who are the guards? Where are the gas chambers? How can you dare to compare the Holocaust to anything, or any situation, to what we have here in the United States. You have seriously besmirching the memories of millions by your weak comparison. You should be embarrassed and ashamed. Your probably one of those people that also throws out the word "Nazi" to anyone that treats you wrong for any reason. Please stop doing any Holocaust analogies, its not right in any way, shape or form. The only lack of critical, let alone reasonable, thought is being done by you.

If what is going on in IV now is considered a clamp down, I don't want to be around when it is lifted. I don't think anyone is denying them a good time but when they start causing property damage or fighting people that means it has gotten out of control and it is the duty of those police to take action. Some drunk people get stupid and make bad choices. The cops need to be around to protect innocent people from getting hurt. If someone was dancing on your car crushing your cars top and a cop was right there wouldn't you want him to stop it? You would be pretty livid if the cop just ignored it. What if Washington just got down, really what is the worst thing that would happen. He might get a fine and pay for damages and spend the night in a drunk tank. Big F'en deal, man up, lesson learned and now he has a story for his friends. Thats the price you pay when you act the fool. When you run from the cops you can pretty much count on getting your face slammed into the ground and a knee in your back, that is the price you pay for running from the cop. If you don't like your face slammed in the ground or the rough stuff after, don't run, plain and simple.
