Congrats, Das. Keep up the good work looking out for all the people. It is fashionable these days to blame all our financial woes on public employee unions and pensions. The real culprits are the super-rich and big corporate tax cheats, outsourcers of assets and jobs, and the beneficiaries of tax and public subsidy policies.

Susan works hard for our community, and deserves re-election. She is a winner!

I saw the play at the outdoor theater in Solvang last night - must see. Very funny, and I couldn't count the malapropisms - they come fast and furious, and I was laughing too hard anyway. Eric Stein as Sir Anthony Absolute has got to be the funniest tall guy on the planet.

Congrats to Ryan for a gutsy series of races. If it's the same Ryan Martin who graduated from DPHS two years ago, he's got a great singing voice too. A great young man and a true winner.

Wow - the school district is short of funds to hire teachers, but is spending taxpayer money on this distraction?

The books are supposed to be pretty good. The movie? Theseus/Minotaur meets Truman Show meets Lord of Flies meets all those moronic survivor "reality" shows. Pretty ho hum.

I like Starshine, and Gary Linker is a good guy too.
