Another win for Darryl over the corrupt and cozy SB police/legal machine. Excellent!

sure is a lot of knee-jerk reaction in support of Lyin' Lois herein.
The point is not Mitchum's fitness for office (questionable); the point is another lie from an elected Representative. Principles, people. Just because other pols have lied is not excuse.
On Mitchum Sues Capps for Defamation of Character

K_V, I don't understand your post. Capps can hardly "sling dirt from the shadows as a public figure" and I remain anonymous to protect my business interests from thugs like PODER.
"You've said wrorse about people here. " Huh? Yes, I'm calling out Capps as a proven liar. Anyone who supports her dishonest, dishonorable, unethical behavior is equally equally dishonest, dishonorable, and unethical. Your blind partisanship is sad.
The point is not whether the ad cost Mitchum the election (I suspect it did not). The point is that we have a Representative who is *(more than once) a proven liar, dishonest, dishonorable, and unethical. What would she have to do to lose an election? Murder someone in front of witnesses on State Street? Nah, Joyce Dudley would rule it a justified shooting.

I see that none of you understand the concepts of principle or honesty, preferring to dis Mitchum and to continue to endorse the Liar.

This issue has nothing to do with whether one is a Lois Lover or a Mitchum hater (one and the same in most cases) or not. The issue one of principle (remember those?) and is about lying in a campaign. She said she approved the ad, which was another example of bad behavior by Lyin' Lois. She should step down. And hopefully Mitchum will win the lawsuit (how could he not) and other potential liars will be more careful what they endorse.

The oil ALREADY is transported by truck and train. XL will take a lot of that load and reduce the risk of what we just saw in W.Va. Not to mention reducing pollutants emitted by the trucks and trains. Duh.
And, excuse me loonpt, do you REALLY think "THEY" engineered a massive train explosion" If so, your screen name is well chosen.

@art and others: There was another more recent article in the NYT referring to WMD more recently discovered. Unfortunately the article has been widely ignored (after all, EVERYONE knows that Bush lied). Google "WMD and New York Times".
