But they have to say they're not forcing anyone out so they don't get a bad name. Raising the rents to an extreme is the same thing. Bad moral ethics if you ask me.

Ken V - Did Hitler use automatic weapons? Wait, at first he did then he used gas. What did Stalin use? Mao? What's happening in Myannmar right now? What happened in Indonesia roughly 50 years ago? What's happening in Pakistan? India? Non violent protests aren't going to change anything if you paid attention to human nature and history. What we can learn from history is that nobody learns from history. Apparently you're one of those. No, whatever is in my "bunker" will not hold off the US military but 300 million + firearms in the US plus at least 20% of the current military who will not disarm American citizens says otherwise.

So our President wants foreign terrorists to be able to go through our legal system yet signed approval that American citizens can be detained indefinitely by our military. How does this make sense???

While it is true they're not forcing any current tenants out, they are raising the space rent, causing many to have to look elsewhere to live.

Ken V - Citizens do need automatic weapons if you paid any attention to history at any point in time.
Bill - As always, I completely agree with you 100%. I wish more people thought like you and understood the world and history.

Liana - So I suppose you'd rather be killed and eaten by a mountain lion and not have anything done about it because "they were here first"? I'm sorry, I live in the real world where humans have rights and one of which is the right to life. No animal killing a person is just. Now, if you're out hiking around looking for bears or big cats and get too close because you believe in fairies and that the cats or bears just look too cute to resist, you will get killed and that's your fault. But if you're in your house and in your backyard you see these predators, you have a right to defend a human life or your livestock, which is your livelihood.

AZ - not all child molestors want to have sex with the children they target. There are different types of pedophiles. Some want to hurt, some want to strike fear, others honestly think they are helping the child and want to make them happy but are sexually turned on by a child. I'm all for legal prostitution but that won't stop pedophiles....like you said, totally different game.

And why are we even bothering our time and our overcrowded system with people selling drugs, doing drugs or carrying drugs? In case we haven't already noticed, the war on drugs was lost many years ago.

DrDan - how are you not seeing these "gun violence" issues is not about guns at all? It's about mental health. You don't need a gun to kill people. Those types of people are obviously mentally unstable and need help. Why is there nobody willing to seek treatment for these people before tragedies like this occur? We have children who are growing up watching movies and playing video games where killing people is the ultimate goal. And we think this doesn't affect our children? Obviously it is and it has. All these actors that are against firearm ownership have made their millions shooting up people on the big screen. Get your head wrapped around the fact that we are causing this. We as a community are failing our children and we're too caught up in blaming someone/something else that we can't even take a look at ourselves.
