Two young men died of a tragic and freak accident leaving loved ones behind who will read these message boards to find comfort, and all you can do is make a baseless and demeaning accusation?
I will pray for your selfish and pitiful soul.

If you drink, it would be best if you didn't drive. Even if you are innocent, and even if you win your case, you still might get the beat down of your lifetime, and some on these messageboards will say: "what's wrong with that?"
How about making it official: death penalty for first offense DUI?
Must be a few posters who could live with that.

The people whom I respect in law enforcement don't think Genis is the problem within the SB police department, nor do they think that Genis is responsible for the utter failure of leadership within SBPD, nor do they blame Genis for allowing a few bad cops to bring shame upon the majority of police who are honest hard working and dedicated public servants.
Fix the problem, not the blame.

As for "enough rope" I agree.
The police statements may as well be: "I know YOU are, but what am I?" or "HE started it".
Years ago a friend told me of his "mirror theory". Simply put, when a person accuses someone else of a wrongdoing, many times it is just the accuser putting his own shortcomings upon the accused. Could that be what Mannix, and the other officers did?
