I certainly wouldn't call the handling of this situation by any of the players classy and professional. The bad news is that I think we’ve scared away many of the higher caliber potential new applicants with these public shenanigans. Think about applying for that horrible job now, knowing the level of scrutiny the position is now under and the potential that this could happen again. Yeah, sign me up for that! We may get a weak puppet president for a while. All told, this adds up to nothing but an embarrassment for SBCC. Of course change needed to happen, but the way it went down is the real shame. I don't see any reason to do anything this week but reflect upon the bad decisions, atrocious inability of many to admit mistakes and lack of humility on all sides. I'm pessimistic that anything of value will be learned. Nobody has "won" anything here and moving forward doesn’t automatically mean it’s going to get better. It may get worse. Getting rid of one person seems to have only created a handful of other little monster groups all grabbing for power positions. Great, and I have to work in this atmosphere…so thanks for that, higher ups. Well done. For now, and indefinitely, there will be no joy in Mudville...
