Zwoirle (Michael): From Wikipedia: "Black helicopters is a term which became popular in the United States militia movement and its associated political circles in the 1990s as a symbol and warning sign of an alleged conspiratorial military takeover of the United States, though it has also been associated with men in black and similar conspiracies."
So obviously no offense was intended to any Ganschow family member. Sounds like your father was a true American hero.
Surfguy: I did not know you had a blog, so no offense intended either. What is your blog? I would like to read it regardless of whether or not I agree with what you have to say, and I promise not to post any snarky comments.
Boy, am I on a roll of offending people or what?!!?
On Judge Tosses Lance from Court
Posted on August 4 at 11:37 p.m.
sbsurfguy: Court starts at 8:30 a.m., and Lance might get underway fairly quickly, so get there then and take a seat between Fatso Steepleton writing his breathless commentary, sage Zwoirle and bloggers on all sides of the story who publish unread blogs. The story, the allegations, the cover up, the stonewalling, the murders, the dame, the shamus with a heart of gold, the DUI shyster lawyer, the insane client, the cop who has a trouble with money, the corrupt judge, the corrupt D.A., the corrupt bailiff, the corrupt courtroom clerk, the corrupt court reporter, the corrupt light fixtures, all will be on display for your perverted pleasure, you sick puppy.
Sorry, it's late. Odds are you will just see Lance tossed out again. Maybe that Carlitos Cruzeros dude too, whatever his name is. Should be entertaining!

jfklbj: Perhaps so, but I would politely disagree about your stonewalling assertion. The press release from the city the other day pretty much said they were going to look into Lance's charges, which I have repeatedly said are perhaps 2 or 3 small gold nuggets hidden in a ton of mud. And it really comes down to a subjective decision by someone (the D.A., the courts, etc. etc) if Beutel's credibility viz-a-viz her bankruptcy should be taken into account as to the circumstances surrounding Lance's arrest. And just because Lance, his acolytes at the N-P and some forum posters say it should be doesn't make it so, and is not indicative of any "corruption" of the D.A., the courts, etc. That is what I despise most about Lance and the N-P, their attitude that if anyone dares disagree with them then they are "corrupt". What a complete bunch of tools.

I did not read Lance's article about the waiver destruction because I don't want to sully my hands or my mind. But does the waiver destruction have to do with normal record keeping, or was Lance's waiver destroyed intentionally, along with all the other chuckleheads who now claim they were forged? I kinda doubt this latter scenario, and talk of latent palm prints on originals extrapolating to SBPD malfeasance is a bit far-fetched to me. We're really getting into black helicopter-land now. You really have to (re)consider the source of the allegations (Lance, Kenny, Genis, drunk college students, Cruzito Cruz, Wendy, Arthur, etc.) and start looking at their collective credibility as much as Beutel's.

JohnLocke: No, for the most part Zwoirle has been a Peter Lance supporter, so to speak. However, I think he was alternately amused and appalled by Lance's antics in the courtroom. And Zwoirle is right, Judge Gordon would have clapped him in irons and sent him to the cooler. Hill needs to open a can on Lance if he continues acting like a doofus in court.
On What Gag Order?

Reminds me of a song from my youth:
Bozo, Bozo, always laughs, never frowns!Bozo, Bozo, Bozo the Clown!

Hmm, the administrator does seem busy, but I can understand why.
So speaking in very, very general terms:
bigt, I tried to point out in a previous (since deleted) post that many arrests do not lead to the filing of criminal complaints, convictions, sentences, etc. You might want to pop over to the Superior Court and search the criminal records database to document/justify your "evidence of defamation" claim before you continue trumpeting it.
Boy, everyone is screaming defamation these days. I look forward to seeing if anybody actually files a lawsuit.
On Got Dog?

Not to rain too much on the parade, but didn't Lance violate the gag order? If so, what happens? In a perfect world they would literally put a gag on him, but barring that I'm curious to know what will happen.

bigt, now that's funny!

Ahh, it's now a conspiracy between Welsh, the Indy and the SBPD against the intrepid (yet surprisingly petulant) Peter Lance, we should have known. Lance is about to blow the cover off the sordid tale of Kasi Beutel and Cam Sanchez's love child, the slush fund, the lies, the sex, the videotape, the phone hacking and Bigfoot. He HAD to be silenced, don't you see, don't you see???
Really bigt, you can't really believe the stuff you write?
Seriously, reading (or re-reading) Lance's demand for retraction is excruciating for any reasonable person, and I strongly predict is going to get laughed out of court if he pursues it any further.
