the term "half-life" is meant for stable isotopes that degrade over millions of years; it does not make sense for the dubie or 40oz you ingested last Saturday. Sorry if it's just a translation issue. The conflict of interest comment hits this stinker right on the head.

After discussing with some MD friends, it is unfortunately the MO in western medicine to treat people's illnesses in this manner. They (in a general sense referring to our present doctors) have a job to fix your pain, not problem, in the quickest way possible.
