I am curious as to why Dr. Leakey has aligned himself with someone like David Anderson who apparently has an opposing view of how habitats and animals in Africa are managed.

I am very sad about this news. People will be out of work. Fred's widow is possibly in a real bad way. His kids and grandchildren too. Welcome to the big picture.
Fred Benko will always be a legend in our town. The Condor Express will sail again. God rest his soul. Give us a break from your amazingly low comments about the news.
