I "cling" to all three, and I am concerned about climate change, I am proud of my country and those who serve its best interests. I believe we learn from the mistakes of history and have a tradition of doing the right thing.
I am a fan of free speech unless it is hate speech that sanctions intolerance and incites violence and I care how you feel and respect what you have to say.
I am the person you want your son to be. Free from hate and the unhappiness it breeds. I value your virtues and accept your vices. You will find yourself comfortable around me. I will listen to reason. Happy to give of the majority, what is deprived to a few.

StandUpGuy is an online persona that perhaps should have been called SoapBoxGuy. Imbued by his Creator with a contrarian's point of view. What some say is bad, he will say is good. What some say is black, he will say is white.
The Creator knows that the truth lies in the gray areas, and that most people fall somewhere between the extremes and is OK with that.
