This is just poorly imagined fiction and bad writing. This "psychic" has managed once again to insult all intelligent life.

This "psychic" only hears those animals whose people have both active bank accounts and wild imaginations.

Laura,
This week was a particularly lame column. Although, I did enjoy the witty comment from Theguywritingthis. It seems you have not yet learned the moral of your story - keep putting your annoying nonsense in our faces and we will keep nipping at you until you finally get the message and go away.

I'm just a little confused, was it God that told the little fish to jump to their deaths for your amusement, or was that just an example of your magical powers?
Your ears must have been ringing with a chorus of "please eat me" as they leaped into your wet lap.

I am no mind reader...but I am sensing that the Pet Psychic is feeling a little bit defensive and is deflecting her many issues. She feels that her back is against the wall and that her lies are being exposed. She finds herself confused and full of contradictions. She writes that she is not one to push her views, then she continues to do just that. She has lost her grip on reality and clearly should not be on public display merely for the amusement or miseducation of others.

Sounds liberal enough, but keep reading. I have filled in what is implied between the lines.
A school district or charter school in this state shall not include in its program of instruction any courses or classes that:

1. Promote the overthrow of the United States government.
(Teach students to question authority, politicians or government officials)

2. Promote resentment toward a race or class of people.
(Allow a race or class of people to express their different points of view)

3. Are designed primarily for pupils of a particular ethnic group.
(Teaches other perspectives on American History other than the majority view)

4. Advocate ethnic solidarity instead of the treatment of pupils as individuals.
(Allow individuals to share their unique ethnic experiences.)

Let's see how this really adds up...
1 home visit, $150
2 Phone consultations, $150
1 email inquiry, $75
The price of "spreading the message" and "making the world a better place": $375 ... priceless.

On your website you also offer Phone Consultation With Deceased Humans at $250.00/ hour for a Phone Consultation with up to Three Deceased Humans.
Now, how much do you charge to tell me if my car is wanting me to change the transmission fluid? My mechanic charges $60 per hr.

I would love to consider your column an amusing diversion that is simply meant to entertain us, but I fear you actually believe that you have a Higher Power that can communicate through the electronics systems in our cars. This column is a clear attempt to peddle your crazy service, books, and videos by preying upon the superstitions of others. Upon reading this, the term snake oil comes to mind.

You'd think this group could come up with something better than "we conducted more raids last year, netting 350% more pot, than the year before." Is that really the best statistic they can come up with? The fear that medical marijuana laws will increase teen use of marijuana, raised in 1996, when California passed the first effective medical-marijuana law, has simply not come true. According to the official California Student Survey teen marijuana use in California rose steadily from 1990 to 1996, but began falling immediately after the medical-marijuana law was passed.
I do not want to go back to the days of cruising around dark parks that the cops don't patrol buying lousy crap from dangerous people. I don't wish that for our teenagers either.
