@ John_Adams... Sorry but your comments really have no logic in reality. These young boys and girls have no interest in the future from the beginning when raised by gang members or raised in the presence of them.

They feel empowered by standing together in public intimidating others, and not just other gang members. They have a delusion that intimidation equals respect so when others don't bow down to them they tend to strike (just like animals).

The gang injunction is a worthy and necessary tool at twice the price. While some work hard proving gangs have the right congregate the gangs work hard at taking rights away from innocent citizens through intimidation and violence.

Let the police have this tool.

On Gang Injunction Still Stuck in Juvenile Court

@ foofighter.... Great take on the Tea Party rant. The city councils of Stockton and San Jose used arguments a lot like yours, until the workers left and crime rates soared, now they're screaming for help. San Jose even issued emergency pay raises to keep cops from leaving the city.

Great logic huh?

@ JL..."My (now dead) uncle worked for A&P for 19 years and 11 months and was 'laid off' one month before his pension vested."

You just made the perfect pitch to join a union. All this clamor that public employees pay/benefits should be lowered to the private sector is a bunch of cr@p from the greedy. The private sector should be raised.

Let's not forget that then Governor Ronald Reagan gave public unions collective bargaining to stop abuses by crooked politicians.

Who cares what Adam wants to do. Just follow the 4-1 votes on the board and you'll see he's always the "1". Typical Teabilly behavior that garners no support from others and achieves nothing. Let's look back to November 2012 to see how that worked out for the Teatards.

Adam better learn to play in the sand box if he wants to be known for something more than a punchline in the history SB County politics.

Based on Wallar's comments she pulled out because her deal wasn't kept secret. Keep in mind her job was in part to stream line and cut the fat in county government, but she's wanting a huge pay increase. This is the hypocrisy people hate.

How can she now seek to impose further cuts on county workers while it's obvious she's greedy??

Time for the BOS to find someone new.

JUDGE RIGALI IMPOSES A GAG ORDER IN DENUNCIO CASE!!!!.... LOL!!!! Isn't that cruel and unusual punishment for little Darryl?

'However, he stated once the lawyers were outside the courtroom, "Everybody's behavior seemed to take a turn for the worse," referencing allegations have been made from one side stating the other is being unprofessional.

"With what has happened," said Judge Rigali, "it puts me in a position to impose a gag order, an order that the lawyers not talk to the media about the case.""

No, I believe Rigali was trying not to single out Genis even though the Deputy DA hasn't made stupid public comments, issued stupid challenge letters, or repeatedly been lured into posting in the comments section of the Indy.

On Mistrial Declared in Tony Denunzio DUI Case

Posted on March 21 at 8:56 p.m.

@Beachgirl77..... Do you know why laws (citations & arrests) are enforced on all those cretins violating said laws? Because the vast majority of TAX PAYING and HARD WORKING citizens demand it.

No law abiding business owner should have to tolerate some urine soaked drunk loser sleeping outside their business, no law abiding citizen should have to deal with problems caused by said losers getting drunk in public (even when they pour booze into a soda can to hide it), and no law abiding motorist should be hit by an uninsured loser.

You don't like the laws then go to Sacramento and effect change. Don't complain about those enforcing it.

There's one more option for you. There's a country just south of San Diego that will let you do pretty much whatever you want, but you won't get hand outs down there. You might starve.

This comes from an opinion piece written by the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center in today's News-Press....

""I slit her throat and she doesn't even know she's bleeding" - when referencing Deputy District Attorney Mai Trieu, the prosecutor in a recent mistrial.

Mr. Genis' use of such graphic, violent imagery to describe what he perceives as his achievement in a courtroom against a female attorney is abhorrent and has no place in a civil society."

...Did Denuncio pay extra for the great PR?
