I was the recipient of one of these little lovelies!Furious! Because I never (seriously) never run the light. Now I know why I got it.I avoid going to the Ventura business area at all costs- I'll go anywhere else (even if it's further) just to make my point to Ventura stores. Maybe they can put pressure on the govt to fix these red light cameras.I dont have any problem paying the ticket, if I had run it- but I didnt. Unfortunatley, by the time I take off from work, drive there, contest it (and probably lose) I'm out alot more money than if I just paid it. I think they know this and that's the scam.

I don't understand why they would use this as the Homecoming theme? Where they just out of ideas?Maybe they should have held a contest beforehand and let the students submit ideas. Anything would have been better than this. Looks like Homecoming in the East LA- lovely.

Why do I need to buy rain barrels?Seriously I couldn't even fill a bucket with the amount of rain we get here. Like I need another obstacle in my tiny SB yard.

These students are not entitled to an education, they have to earn it by working hard and getting goods grades before they get to college. They have to work a job and save money to be able to afford college. This party now, whine later attitude has got to stop.
A lesson in life is in order.Life is tough out there for everyone, get a helmet, it doesn't ever get any easier. I know that probably sounds horrible- but seriously look outside of the little "me" bubble, people are struggling everywhere.

Ridiculous! Why do we need 50 taxi cab companies? This isn't New York. I believe the number of licenses for cabs should be limited.I am all for fair market and competition in business, but they are in need of some guidelines- as to fees, areas to park etc. They should also be reported for fare gouging and not posting pricing- both are illegal. Before you ever get in a cab- before they touch your luggage, you say "how much to (your destination)?" That way you know. If they try to jack it up once you get there- don't pay it and report them.
