Thanks for this! Santa Barbara is far from the environmental cutting edge where some believe it to be. Permitting for solar needs to be easier, as there is already low or no cost financing for it.

I SO agree! A roundabout means many fewer cars stopped and waiting for the light to change. What a shame the city and its citizen chose to save money to do the wrong thing....

Although I appreciate a concern for safety, the idea that every woman should find and ask someone to accompany her every time she walks to or from her car, home, etc. at night is absurd, that men need not do this but all women should? To live in fear of the minute criminal population is not a way to live, for women or men.

If my system pays me back in 15 years, that is fine with me. It gives me more than I need, feeds the grid when they most need it and makes me more energy independent, cleanly. And, it was affordable. We live in a sun drenched place, so YES!
