"all you are doing is contain gangs in their own turf, how is that protecting the families, and regular folks in their own neighborhood."
I see your point, but now I'm curious how many gang members stab other people in their neighborhoods as opposed to those stabbed during the fireworks by the pier, at a park or at the beach?
It may sounds one sided, but containing gangs in their own turf sounds like a step in the right direction. Gangs are going to be on their own turf sometimes - so why not make it all of the time? That would protect the majority of people in the city which is a good start.

Robles was also killed?

Sounds like a plea bargain.

McB: You think "the public should have the right to carry a concealed firearm legally?" That means criminals could carry firearms legally too. The Public drive drunk and have trouble operating their cell phones and you want them to carry loaded, concealed firearms?
Bad Idea Jeans.
Start with Pepper spray, at least that can't accidentally go off and kill someone.

@mosquitoThank you. That was more along the lines of what I was looking for. Unfortunately, some people on this board think that we should read the paper, watch the news, and never ask questions or seek more information.
@sbsleuth99. Thank you so much for your not-so detailed description of how our justice system works. Read my post again. I never proclaimed he was innocent, nor did I say I read every article out there ("...every article I can find..."). My point was, the info "I could find" highlighted facts in the case that suggested he was not guilty... I was simply looking for more information, which only matters to me not our judicial system...
On Frimpong Gets Six Years

I've read every article I can find regarding this case, and I've yet to read about any evidence that shows, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Frimpong committed this heinous act. Can someone please post a link to something that shows how the jury found him guilty?
I'm not trying to be insensitive to the people who were hurt by the crime, I'm just confused as to what - based on everything I've read - proves this guy did it?

@livingInSB - Yes, please give us some more insight. I've had such a hard time believing there wasn't something very damaging to convict him, because everything in the media makes him sound like the victim of an unfair trial, and unfortunately all I have to go on, is the media.
