I'm never surprised at the lack of professionalism that defines the media in Santa Barbara; apparently journalistic integrity is a foreign concept. The series in the News Press about Peter Lance/Kasi Beutel incident raised some interesting issues - one of the writers at the News Press should have been the one raising them, not Peter Lance. Then we move onto Paula Lopez. Now we have Roger Durling, writing "I know nothing about Beutel." The Los Angeles Times exposes corruption in Bell, abuses by the Sheriff's Department, etc, and we get this tripe. The citizens of Santa Barbara deserve better.
On The S.B. Questionnaire: Kasi Beutel

the issue that the concerned citizens of Santa Barbara should be concerned about is the reaction to her "disappearance" by the Sheriff's department. That is the preferential treatment that some have referred to - a medical condition triggered that response. One can speculate that she got drunk and wandered away - not a medical emergency in my humble opinion. Certainly not when compared to the disappearance on an autistic child. And I don't remember a helicopter being deployed in that case. So much for the credibility of the Sheriff's department and KEYT.

Can someone answer this question, how many times has Abe Vega been arrested in the past few years?
