On Our Love/Hate Relationship with Gotye

Thank you for that ndnapo ! I was truly sad to read such a faithless review. I myself have been a fan of Wouter DeBacker for quite sometime now (years). I believe his performance on Saturday was absolutely incredible. The visuals were great however, his stage presence alone would have filled in the "gaps" that were cast. He is an animal on those drums and instruments. He's incredibly entertaining, talented, and oddly attractive (from my stand point of view ;) . His poise and stature he takes while singing has a presence that absolutely accommodated that large stage he was standing on- The interaction between him and the boys in the band, awesome! I thought it was just a phenomenal concert. I had a couple of friends who accompanied me, whom had never heard of Gotye's music and, they thoroughly enjoyed the whole concert from the silly and adorable opener "Jonti", to the boisterous and fun New Yorkers "Chairlifted", to the sensational "Gotye" from the Land Down Under. I really hope he comes back. One final note- I really despise that Somebody That I Used To Know is the song that took off in the USA- It's a great song however, it's not his best. Heart's A Mess is a song to be loved by all.
