I am also trying to figure out where this "Mission Lagoon by State and Mission streets" might be and how that would relate to "Laguna Creek by Garden and Yanonali streets." And where is the "sandy berm"? (Shades of "grassy knoll.") Despite not knowing where this is occuring, it seems to me that usually erecting a barrier is less effective than encouraging alternative behavior. People find ways over , under, around and through fences and walls.

It's best to start telling some truths early, before they're old enough to be embarrassed. If you've never talked about where babies come from, bringing it up when they're 10 is really awkward for all concerned. And teach them they can always go to the library if they want to learn the real story about something!

On Mommy's a Liar

The Theatre Book Club actually meets from 5:30 to 7:00 on Tuesday Oct. 2. The Director of The Clean House will be there to lead the discussion! Other Ensemble Theatre staff will also be on hand.

There are still a few remaining spots left. To sign up, call the Reference Desk at the Public Library: 564-5604. Then come in to pick up your copy of the play from the upper desk.
