Thanks - sounds like an interesting exhibit. It would be helpful to know what the gallery hours are --- surprisingly, they aren't listed on the web site, either.

No signal on Ch. 72 here with just basic service. Is it only for the high-end subscribers?

When are the rules for the contest going to be updated? What's the theme, the topic of the films supposed to be, for instance?

Because of the importance of continuity, because the interviews were done before when the candidates and probably the winning ones, as well, were not paying attention to such things. But continuity is important - not everything is political or at least should not be.
The new council member will have plenty of time for appointments and will most likely not delay her choices for her replacement when that time comes.
But as for Thompson, Bendy (how true to his name he has become) called him the "Planning Commission's planning commissioner," decrying the clear political choice of Schwartz three years ago before he himself became a politician and bent with the political winds.

And returning to the Planning Commission two years later, "Bendy" (how true is his nickname!) White voted against "the Planning Commission's planning commissioner," Addison Thompson; Helene Schneider remained true to the principle of quality over politics, at least in this context, voted for him. Thompson was appointed on a 4-2 vote (House was the other nay-sayer; Rowse absent.)

Thanks, Goleta! Keep them there. If you kick the RVs out, they'll come and join the others along Cabrillo Boulevard, despite the hassle of moving from midnight to 6.

jfklbj is correct. There's at least one fire department employee who retired at 50 with a pension of a little more than $9,700/month. Do they also get county health insurance?

Here, this issue and now, I agree with Nava. One Das is another in the legislature - and we do not need his mentor, Jackson, in the Senate. I look forward to learning more about Hodge. Das's ad, photoshopped of Susan Jordan, continues to bite him. Jackson's arrogance (“We need to have some people there who know what they’re doing to help turn the state around.”) is boundless.

I could understand killing the rats on Anacapa; I could understand killing the pigs on Santa Cruz; I have _a lot_ of difficulty understanding killing the elk on Santa Rosa. Rather killing them, why not have tried neutering, chemically or otherwise. That way, there would not have been the annual hunts and the closing of the island for five months. What a shame that so much money and energy has gone into killing.......
“Hunting is not authorized in national parks,” said Menard, except if the park service employees or contractees do it.

Four stories on Storke Road/Hollister - what a precedent! This will be the ABE high rise (Aceves, Bennett, Easton) for the bedroom community of Goleta. Is this what the slow-growth supporters of Ed Easton thought they were getting three years ago?
