We are just above West Camino in Rosario Park. Been pretty quiet but kindve afraid to leave and get cut off from getting back. Would love to know exactly where the fire is threatening right now. I heard at the ridgeline and Gibralter. Looking at the maps its hard to tell. I know where the warning and mandatory areas are, but not where the fire is. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance, and thanks to all the firefighters!

On Jesusita Fire Begins to Settle Down

This is pretty funny, my wife and I booked a Mexico cruise for our anniversary last year. We embark in a few weeks. The cruise line informed us that because of the swine flu pandemonium we are being re-routed to "The American Riviera". I asked "What is that?" She said "Santa Barbara", and proceded to inform me that I would really love Santa Barbara and gave me a list of cool places to check out when I am there. I didn't have the heart to tell her I live here and that two of the places she recommended are no longer in business. She seemed pretty flustered having to reroute thousands of people and I didn't want to put her over the edge.
My brother in Seattle called to tell me something similar was happening to him. He asked me "What are they calling Santa Barbara?" I said "The American Riviera, what are they calling Seattle?" He said "The Gateway to Canada"!
You just cant make this stuff up! :)
