Very thoughtful review. I wish mainstream churches had the resources to provide such comprehensive programs. I have no problem with bringing some show biz into the worship arts. Sounds like the Calvary Chapel services are engaging and moving. I'm jealous that these folks get to go to church in the funk zone. The warehouse ambience is appealing. Also, you can probably find a parking spot on Sunday morning when the surrounding businesses are closed.
