Creating bike lanes with white paint in traffic lanes is not the answer. The age of the earth saving pedacommuter peaked in the 80's as that demographic ages out.The new majority dreams of getting off a bike and into a pimped out full size truck or SUV and ride their bikes on the sidewalk anyways, while the spandex crowd never ride on bike paths as they can't ride 3 abreast and piss off drivers and my kids need both hands for their Iphones. How about a caged in elevated metal bike path along the train tracks which take a perfect flat route right through town-how fun would it be to draft the Amtrack each way to work or school!

Bravo kook-none of these schools would even be possible without the advent of the made in China Costco kook board.I am nostalgic(read bitter) of the days surfing was viewed as derelict by our parents and we had to do it all on our own.

I know it is hip to surf but where is everybody going to surf everyday after school?I see lots of empty tennis courts,or great roads to cycle on or even pool based aquatics. But I guess it's more fun to have a surfing based non-profit .

By the looks of that cute little bug it's safe to assume trailers don't have to pass a crash test.

I thought a truly color blind society was the ultimate goal. But progressives still feel guilty and now want to make it "easier" for blacks(?) and Latinos to get elected.Maybe we should just assume how those who do not take the time to vote would have voted and just add those supposed votes in on election night.Seems fair,eh, doc?

To me it's all about The China Syndrome. It's absurd to make California businesses meet even more restrictive regulations in order to achieve 'Vanguard' status while Chinese plants use slave labor to pump out cheap goods, toxic clouds and water.Since we don't let our companies compete on a level playing field, which is good that we don't, then we should place enough tariffs on goods from dirty producers so that our manufacturers can compete-Not to mention the good jobs that come with it.Pollution knows no borders people.
