I thought it was hip and progressive to have the things things you consume to be as local as possible-why should that not include the oil we ALL use.If we see some oil infrastructure around it makes us appreciate it more than if it just magically appears at the pump.What is always glaringly left out of these discussions is population growth and the primary driver of it-BTW,look whose driving all those 10 yr old gas hog SUV's with 20" wheels which would probably otherwise be off the road.

At what percentage does the minority become the majority-apparently not at "roughly two thirds."I suppose maintaining minority status is crucial to continue receiving benefits which are paid for by the new minority which enabled the old minority to become the new majority.

I wonder how many of these cabbies who claim Uber/Lyft are outside the law are themselves undocumented or have overstayed their visas.I would rather have an Uber driver living next door to me than than a 10 year old mini van with a bad paint job.

Seems to me that guaranteeing spending 10% of the budget on something tangible that benefits all of us is pretty reasonable as opposed to 100% of it on "where the hell did it all go" Floatopia overtime and questionable social programs.

Farming food is a better use of water than farming takers.Back to the subject though-A 50 gallon drum to catch laundry water with a sump pump in the bottom and presto-enough water for a 'modest' homes garden.
