Great article. Thank you so much!! My wife and I are parishioners at Christ the King, and we have helped William Shea over the months with cash gifts and encouragement. William told us last Sunday that he has found a place to stay. We're grateful for Cottage Hospital working with and financially supporting Casa Esperanza and Willbridge, but there's got to be more that we can all do to help homeless persons in SB & Goleta & Carpinteria, since any of us (perhaps most if not all of us) could be the next ones to lose jobs and end up homeless. To be truly humane means we must be our brother's and sister's keepers.
