Man Lars, from how quickly you reply to my post, I guess you must be sitting in that office on Carrillo just trolling this board looking for any way to protect Dario. Is Alma sitting right next you? If so, look straight ahead, because I know it must be scary looking at her everyday!
On Dario Pini Nominated to Landlord Hall of Shame

I wonder why no one brings up the cheap motels he owns? They are even worse then then his apartments. I actually used to work for Mr. Pini before I knew about his bad reputation. "I should have known something was up when in my interview they asked, " Are you ok working for Dario Pini?" After a while, I didn't even want to tell people who I worked for and just said I was self-employed. I quit after the first month when he tried to weasel out of paying overtime and demanded to pay me with personal check, which is how he pays a lot of his employees. Mr. Pini happens to own the Fiesta Inn, the Villa Rosa Inn, and the Ala Mar Motel in Santa Barbara. He also owns Casa Del Sol in Carp, The Shores Inn in Ventura, Chantico Inn in Ojai, and the Surfside in Port Hueneme. All of these are cheap motels that he will rent out by the hour, and you can read the reviews on Trip Advisor. The man is after every dollar he can find and he doesn't care about who his tenants are, as long they can make some type of payment. And when it comes to Ken Sterling, he is Dario's henchman with a Napoleon complex. Come on Ken, do you really think we believe Dario is out to help people? Ken is partially right, they will accept late payments. But as soon as they get that late payment they will slap a three day notice on your door and begin the eviction process. Just look at the all the evictions he has going in the city of Santa Barbara. It's all public record on the county court house's website. If there is any justice in this world, Dario will do major jail time. Or better yet, since he would rather be in jail then pay fines, the city should substantially fine him for all of the problems he causes in this community.
