I think this film had such a tender handling. Telling a quilted story of how life can dissapoint and people are in the end, just human beings. Your memory was possibly drawn out and purged after seeing this film.Your story is raw and not without some emotional experiences that most people would not openly share. I think you may open some minds to what it really is to be related to someone surviving a medical trauma. If we do not share these experiences often they fester and never heal. Seems you and Payne share something. I saw you and heard you at the Q and A. Your question was rivetting and I was moved when you paused in asking it. Mr Payne was so honest in his answer I can't help but think he reflected that honesty in his film.

I drove over the bridge a few days ago and thought about the folks who have gone to their rest from the bridge.I am sorry whenever anyone is so sad they would rather take their own life than take on the challenges of life. I am almost certain if there had been help, better mental health...she might have made a different choice. Thank God she was un-successful.I would wish for a better Mental Health Care system in California and maybe something can be done now...instead of later. Why does there always have to a tragedy before we are willing to make change a reality? For today...thanks to these two people who in the right place at the right time and that they were able to help.

Glad you are back! Readin you is like taking a hot bubble bath in a tub full of jolly ranchers and yellow rubber duckies! You are a little nutty and yet so sane, it scares me. Good luck on surgery and keep writing! I heard about the screenplay, it is getting some good buzz. Break a leg baby!
