Hi! I'm Alan Summers, and although based in England, I often work alongside U.S. and other world haiku poets.
I'm a Japan Times award-winning writer and the current Japanese Embassy "Japan-UK 150" haiku and renga poet-in-residence.
With Words is a tiny organisation run by myself and my wife Karen Hoy to promote the love of words to people who might feel intimidated by words, especially with poetry. We find using haiku poetry breaks the ice as everyone loves haiku even if they don't like poetry.
