Wow, people are so quick to judge. sure, it's a tragedy that people died in this accident, however, you're all going after the wrong person. There is a report that is about 400 pages that was done on this accident by a special team of investigators that determined that Kimberly was in no way responsible for the death of these kids. It is the responsibility of the driver, who survived, to face the charges as he fell asleep at the wheel of the car Kimberly hit as it laid in the dark, motionless without lights, in the middle of the freeway coming around a curve.Kimberly was a .06 alcohol and the fact that she had methamphetamine in her system does not necessarily mean she was under the influence of it. This drug takes 5 days to leave your system. The fact is it had already been almost 3 days since she had taken that dooming puff of methamphetamine smoke. How many of you self righteous judgemental hypocrites out there have ever partied a little on a Friday night or took a puff off a joint or had a glass of wine with dinner and got in your car and drove, or maybe not, but felt absolutely fine and in no way under the influence, or impaired to drive, especially 3 days later? so what she has a past of substance abuse, that's over 15 years ago. She paid the price back then so why resentence her to it now? This is a case of wrong place, wrong time, and it could happen to anybody, sober or not. How is it not so obvious that the responsibility for the death of those children lies solely on the driver of the other car, that fell asleep, killing the owner of said car? How could he have the audacity to even speak in court knowing that he killed those kids? So people before you speak, know what's going on. She has her act together and has suffered enough for some tragedy that she had no control over.

Wow. I too had to create an account just to comment. This denise person really is the epitome of self righteous people that never do anything wrong and even if they do, it's not their fault. The worst kind of people in my eyes. Who are you, lady, to judge others? Please don't bother to get a life, just try to open your mind and climb down off your high horse and realize that different people have different beliefs and you are not always right. The botom line here is that the reason Mr. Stanley was doing what he was doing isn't important. What's important is that what he was doing was voted for by californians. I appreciate all the support that so many people have shown for Mr. Stanley and his family as i also know them quite well and know that they are in no way trying to cause harm to anyone.
