From the press conference, it seems that both East and West Camino are under mandatory evac. Anyone seeing what's going on around there?
Any news would be appreciated.

Any news about West Camino Cielo. It has been difficult to figure out what is going on with West Camino Cielo as the news often reports Camino Cielo and for those of us up in the mountains, it makes a difference. We have evacuated and would appreciate any news. Thank you Independent!

We on West Camino Cielo do not think of our beautiful area as a " death zone"!!!

Currently we are in a evacuation warning zone- waiting and watching as the helicopters and planes work on the hills across from us.

Up here on West Camino Cielo we just received a reverse 911 and we are on evacuation warning.
We did this with the Gap Fire so we know the drill. Nerve wracking, none the less

With both the Tea Fire and the Gap Fire, I am amazed that the public discussion has only hinted at the fact that these fires were started by irresponsible people. As I live very close to where the Gap Fire was raging, I am keenly aware that there should be more sanctions about people shooting outside of the Gun Club There should not have been a bon fire( any fires!) where the Tea Fire began. Those of us who live in " fire danger" area are doing our part. Let's have an honest discussion about those who are abusing our back country!
