The answer, of course, is to increase taxes, increase regulations, and make the state more hostile to business while making it more hospitable to welfarians (we have 38% of all welfare recipients in the nation), and keep young retired public union members in Cadillac pensions (fun fact: average pension for a CA public union employee $68k/yr, average wage for working adults in CA $47K/yr) and the best health care insurance available with COLAs.
It has gotten us to this point but a few more years ought to finish the job.

A very large business in Santa Barbara is taking our tax dollars and wastefully spending on the homeless, we call it Homeless Inc.
For the price per night per person ($55) we could house these people in hotels instead of the warming centers. How does one spend that kind of money without the typical corruption and graft of the Liberal left?

Unions not playing fair? Say it ain't so!
For the unions and demokrat party (but i repeat myself) the ends justify the means.
As long as we are talking shared sacrifice, it is high time that unions start to be taxed like everything else. Like President 0bama says everyone should have skin in the game and the unions do not.

Capps is not for the people of Santa Barbara. Capps is for whatever Pelosi and the democrat party elite tell her to be for. And what the democrat party is for is total state control with no other freedom than to abort a fetus.
Capps is for the interent censorship bills SOIPA and PIPA (as are Boxer and Feinstein).
Capps voted for unlimited and unsubstantiated incarceration for American citizens in the defense bill.
Capps must be replaced with a person that thinks of individual liberty and not state control for the USA.
