Pay raises aside, is it really not possible to live very comfortably on $325,000 a year? Does he really need the extra $75,000? This is a public university after all, spending public money.
Our universities used to be free. Anyone remember? They only collected fees. Not anymore.

Tudor should be fired. He seems to continually abuse Santa Barbara citizens.
Cam Sanchez should be fired for condoning Tudor's behavior.
The City Manager should be reprimanded for not confronting Sanchez—it is the City Manager, after all that hires our police chiefs, isn't it?
And, the entire City Council should be ashamed of themselves for supporting these mean police officers. I guess they are too scared that they will not get their campaign contributions from the police unions to say anything. Disgusting.
And, poor Denunzio. I understand why he ran away from the police at the breakwater—they said they might taze him. He was tazed 13 times by Tudor at Gelsons. Of course he would not want that again.
Totally disgusted with the Santa Barbara Police and the City Council.

I think this bill is too weak to be of any good.
What we need to stop all this insane violence is the repeal of the Second Amendment. The Supreme Court showed that they were not able to understand simple English when they failed to connect Militias with the "right to bear arms", even though they are in the same sentence.
(I suspect the passionate gun lovers are going to be all over me. I've read the posts above. Come on guys, we don't need guns to protect ourselves against our own government. Sheesh!)

Shame on both Hydrex and The Fess Parker. Poisoning birds, indeed!
If they want to keep birds away (that are supposedly feeding on the available food) they should clean up immediately after guests leave and otherwise keep the area free of readily available food.
But, most people I know really like birds, even those that want their food.

>>>In our view, the District Attorney badly overcharged this case
So, no contrition here, huh?
Uh…this is how the Montecito people make their money? At lease some of them?
Why is a plea deal offered without at least contrition?

Hey guys, in this instance, it appeared that the Sheriff Deputies were at fault, not the inmate. They were even fired, right? So, the beating must have been pretty bad; maybe they tried to cover it up. The article does not say.
But here, the deputies are not charged with torturing or beating up inmates. The inmates punishment is incarceration.

@Herschel: Yes, his web site says General Contractor, but NOT Licensed Contractor. So, I think he is clear there, now.
