How about putting in a speed limit sign somewhere between Sola and Fig? Currently there is not a one between the two streets. In addition, put a pedestrian crossing sign before Fig to warn drivers. Cars driving down De La Vina go way too fast so post a cop there a couple times a day and tag anyone not yielding to pedestrians. Then a little white paint for actual cross walks. Three inexpensive remedies.

Only 904 yes votes for "J"; that is one heck-of-an expensive loss; give or take, $2200 p/vote...wow

Bill, I thought driving the maximum speed limit was against the law in this state.
May I also add all the a-hole drivers who drive with out the lights on while it is raining.

I am under the impression that it is not really SBB&T's fault on a lot of this but Pacific Bank Corp., which is the parent company. It was PBC that was making those iffy tax loan "scams" and also they and some of their affiliates that made construction loans in Inland Empire that exploded with the housing bubble that is the root of a lot of the problems.
However...I do have a problem with their nickle and dimeing of late with expanded fees etc...

I have been eating at Aldos ever since they opened some 20ish years ago. Food is always fresh and delicious and the service is exemplary. They also added a $6.95 lunch menu but I still need a nap after my favorite carbo craving; the Fettuccine Carbanara... even with the lunch special serving my craving has been more than filled. I often eat alone to catch up on my newspaper reading and they are more than accommodating to the solo eater.
Thanks Mark for the years of great food and great service.
