Think about this...if Measure B had been passed in a bye-gone era, we would not have the great treasures this burg is known for. Such as the Mission, Granada, Arlington nor the crown jewel of the all - the Courthouse.

Just some food for thought....Bye-the-bye: all employees of the Indy appear in bold green when posting. Rules of the Web Admin.

Should we put a barrier on the Granada Garage and Court House Tower too?

And please do not call me callous; I lost a sister in law to suicide last month, so I know the pain the family and friends are going through. My thoughts are with them as they navigate this tragedy.

I take the Storke exit to go to and from home everyday. At 99 rooms at full capacity it is about 99 more cars. I won't even notice it. And it would occupy the eyesore behind home depot, in front of the fire station and will not interfere with the park. And 7D - do you really want an MTD bus facility out here?

As a plus, we won't after discuss beach access on this one. :) Peace

I just walked from Sola down to Fig on De La Vina and there is NOT ONE speed limit sign. Almost EVERY car was going well over the 25 mile limit in this residential area.

Simply put up a couple 25 mpg signs with the "strictly enforced by radar" tag lines and park a couple motor cycle cops with radar btwn Sola and Fig and the city could make budget with the traffic fines from this street alone.

For the sake of the next victim - SLOW DOWN SB!!!

My heart goes out to the family of the victim and the MTD driver.

I have always felt the same way StarShine. I have also been told that having at least two cats or two dogs whilst growing up can/will ward off allergies later in life. So go ahead and touch those "kitty rocas" in the litter box and stop all the worrying. Let the puppy lick your face. And, like you said, don't worry about the pet fur on the lunch box; heck, when I was young we didn't even have those insulated/cold packed lunch containers - we used paper bags and the sandwich would sit at room temp half the day and we never seemed to get sick.

It's been said my wife's family house was always spotless, they had no pets (too dirty) and she's now allergic to almost everything.

My family lived with animals all our lives and grew up running around the hills, beaches and "filthy" streets/sidewalks and none of the five kids are allergic to anything.

I was just pointing out the dangers of letting coastal property owners "do whatever they want (my quote not yours)" with their property. Soon it could look like Orange county, Laguna Beach, Palas Verdes and or Malibu Beach Colony where public access is extremely limited.

I grew up in Carp and though there is lots of access to the main beachs, trying to get to Sand Point to surf meant dodging the guards at high tide.

Now I am fortunate enough to live in the Goodland and call Haskell's/Naples area my home beach. BTW - I think I've seen you on your bike and I am sure you've run into my wife on your way norte...Peace :)

"What somebody does w/ their property ain't an issue & shouldn't be w/ anyone outside that property." ~ Hank

Fine. Then lets let all the land owners all the way to Gaviota build to their hearts content. Then the coast can look just like the Five Cities area in SLO County. Go to town!!! Let 'em do what they want. Right Henry? Is that what you'd like to see?
